This private donation form is exclusively for WVCFD firefighters and their family members who want to support the West Valley Fire Foundation’s mission of taking care of our own during times of crisis.

By committing to a recurring donation of $5 or more per month, you will be eligible to receive two exclusive West Valley Fire Foundation swag items each year. Swag may include shirts, hoodies, hats, mugs, stickers, challenge coins, or other limited-edition items.

Swag Distribution Schedule

  • First swag item: May/June

  • Second swag item: November/December

*To receive your first swag item, you must complete a minimum of five monthly donations of $5 or more (or make an annual donation of $60+). Please provide your preferred apparel size below so your item can be automatically ordered when applicable.

Donations made through this form will be held separately from other Foundation funds and dedicated solely to supporting West Valley firefighters and their immediate families. These funds may be used to assist with medical expenses, financial hardship, and proactive firefighter health initiatives, including cancer and mental health screening support.

FAQs

  • 100% of donation proceeds (not used to cover the design and production of the complimentary swag) goes directly to our WVCFD Emergency Fund. Board members operate 100% as volunteers and do not take any portion of donated funds as any form of salary or compensation. What you donate too is exactly what it's used for.

  • The West Valley Fire Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports first responders in the broad term, and is not associated in any way with West Valley City or the West Valley City Fire Department. While our board is largely comprised of West Valley City firefighters, the views, activities, and financials of the Foundation are solely our own and have no connection to or endorsement by the aforementioned entities. All funds raised by the Foundation are managed independently and are used exclusively for the purposes outlined in our mission.

  • YES! We are an official 501(C)3 foundation, thus making 100% of your donations tax deductible. All donors will receive a receipt with our tax ID information immediately upon donation. Also, see below for our official "Determination Letter" from the IRS, or search our EIN on the IRS database for confirmation as well.
